Responsible AI Policy

This Flowmata Responsible AI Policy (“Policy”) applies to your use of the artificial intelligence and machine learning features, services, and functionality we provide (“AI Services”). This Policy supplements the Flowmata Acceptable Use Policy and our Terms of Service.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use, or facilitate or allow others to use, Flowmata AI Services:

  1. Disinformation and Deception
    • To intentionally generate or spread false, misleading, or deceptive content.
    • To impersonate individuals, brands, or organizations without proper authorization.
  2. Privacy Violations
    • To unlawfully track, monitor, or identify individuals.
    • To depict a person’s voice, likeness, or personal data without their consent or legal rights.
    • To generate or distribute non-consensual sexual imagery or “deepfake” content.
  3. Harm and Abuse
    • To exploit or abuse minors, including grooming or sexual content involving children.
    • To harass, threaten, or encourage harm to individuals or groups.
    • To create content designed to encourage violence, terrorism, or self-harm.
  4. Circumventing Safety
    • To bypass or attempt to bypass safeguards, filters, or safety measures in the Services.
    • To prompt models into producing content that violates this or other Flowmata policies.
  5. Weapons and Lethal Functions
    • To develop or operate weapons systems, or to perform lethal functions without meaningful human control and authorization.

Responsible AI Requirements

  • Consequential Decisions
    If you use Flowmata AI Services to support or automate consequential decisions (those affecting rights, safety, health, or critical opportunities such as employment, finance, education, housing, or medical care):
    • You must implement appropriate human oversight and review before acting on outputs.
    • You must conduct testing, validation, and risk assessment to ensure the outputs are reliable for your use case.
    • You must not rely solely on AI outputs for such decisions.
  • Output Evaluation
    Flowmata AI may generate inaccurate, biased, or inappropriate outputs. You are responsible for evaluating all outputs for accuracy, appropriateness, and compliance with applicable laws before use.
  • Compliance with Law
    You are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations regarding the use of AI, including emerging regulations such as the EU AI Act, privacy laws, and sector-specific requirements.
  • Accountability
    You and your end users are solely responsible for all decisions, actions, or omissions made based on Flowmata AI outputs. Flowmata AI Services are assistive tools and not a substitute for professional judgment.

Enforcement

Violations of this Policy will be investigated under the Flowmata Acceptable Use Policy. Enforcement actions may include warnings, content removal, account suspension or termination, and reporting to authorities if required by law.
