Does Flowmata AI read my Drive files automatically?
No. Flowmata AI never reads your files without your explicit permission. Access is requested only when you attempt a file-specific operation.
Where are generated files stored?
Generated files are saved to the Drive folder you are working in (or to the “Flowmata AI” folder that created on first run). Temporary copies are kept on Flowmata servers for 48 hours for re-download. After 48 hours, server-side copies are purged; files saved to your Drive remain.
What if I run out of credits?
If you have neither promo nor paid credits, paid-generation features will not run. Some core models remain available for free or ultra-low cost. Buy credits via the sidebar quick-buy buttons to continue.
Can I use Flowmata AI on mobile Google Drive?
For now, Google allows sidebar add-on to be used only on Desktop Browsers.
How do I remove Flowmata AI access?
Revoke Flowmata AI’s permissions via your Google Account > Security > Third-party apps with account access, or uninstall the add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace.
How is it different from Gemini app in Google Drive?
It doesn’t require subscription, it uses different AI models. It will have more tools in the future release. Besides, not everybody have access to Gemini companion app.
Is there any free tools?
In initial release you can use Flux1.schnell image generation for free. MeloTTS text2speech for free. Ask AI model Llama 3.1 8b for free. And text extraction tool is also free for now.
How to chat with files in my Google Drive?
This feature will be implemented in one of the next releases.
Do you require a subscription?
Subscription is not required. There is no subscription feature now, but we may introduce it in the future – not as a requirement still.
Why the interface is so slow to open and change?
Yes, that’s not pleasant at all, but it is the way Workspace Add-ons functioning, at least for now.

Can I use not English language in AI tools?
Current Image generation tools require English prompt. Current TTS tools also requires English. In “Ask AI” some models can work in none-English language. In the future release more languages will be available.
